The Credit Union Art Competition 2025 is here!

It’s the time of year again for the Credit Union Art Competition.Closing date for all entries is Thursday 9
October 2025. All entries must be left in Castleblayney Credit Union on or before this date.

Some brief points to take note of are:

  • This year’s theme is “The Future is …..”.
  • The text of the theme does not need to be illustrated on the art piece.
  • Entries must be on A3 or A2 size paper.
  • Entries must be landscape.
  • Entrant’s details must be attached to the back of the art on the slips provided-pleaseensure children have completed these in fully and accurately.
  • Participants must tick the correct age category box, details must be printed clearly, any incomplete entry forms or those with incorrect data may not be considered.
  • There are 5 age categories: 7 and under, 8-10 inclusive, 11-13 inclusive, 14-17 inclusive, 18 & over. Age limit applying as at 31 st of December 2025.
  • There are two categories- General Category and Category for people with additional needs.
  • The category for people with additional needs allows participants with a physical or intellectual disability to submit their entries in free expression painting or drawing, without the restriction of the competitions official theme should they wish to.
  • The category for people with additional needs must be clearly stated on the entry details form. Those in additional needs category and under 18 must get
    parent/guardian signature to confirm that their work is the unaided effort of the entrant.
  • Ensure the consent to use photographic images is ticked for photographs to be used in publications
    relating to the art competition.
