LOAN PROTECTION INSURANCE FOR FREE!
Castleblayney Credit Union provide loan protection on all Loan Balances. The loan balances are insured against the death of the member, provided that the member was eligible for the insurance and in good health when the laon was issued. This insurance does not cover loan balances due by members after their 85th birthday.
DEATH BENEFIT INSURANCE FOR FREE!
Castleblayney Credit Union provides €1300 death benefit insurance on the death of an eligible member. To qualify for this benefit you the member must have joined Castleblayney Credit Union before the age of 70 years and have a minimum amount of € 100.00 in your savings.
LIFE SAVING INSURANCE FOR FREE!
Castleblayney Credit Union provides Life Incurance Cover on the savings fo all members. The maximum insurance benefit is €12700 and the scale of cover is as follows:
Savings Made Before 55th Birthday – 100% cover
Savings Made Between 55th and 60th Birthday – 75% cover
Savings Made Between 60th and 65th Birthday – 50% cover
Savings Made Between 65th and 70th Birthday – 25% cover
Any savings lodged after 70th birthday has no insurance cover, but savings lodged before 70th birthday will carry the above cover percentages, provided that the savings are not withdrawn. The insurance claim is processed after the death of the member.
NOMINATIONS
Castleblayney Credit Union Members may nominate a person or persons to become entitled at his or her death to their savings, up to a maximum of €23000. Castleblayney Credit Union would like to encourage all members to complete a Nomination Form, ask a members of staff for details.
